These Sunset Silhouette beanies have become one of my Signature Beanies, after winning 'The Spirit of the Land' category in the 2004 Alice Springs Beaniefest Competition.
The early versions were done in Tapestry Crochet, but I find I can achieve much better silhouettes by applying them with Needel-Felting (dry felting), which has made them more affordable.
